Darci is a 4 year old Thoroughbred filly whose last race was in July of this year. After struggling a bit in the race her owner decided that she should be retired. Happily, rather than make her into a broodmare he donated her to our foundation so that she can have individualized loving attention from our members. She is housed temporarily in a friend’s barn locally and is settling in to a relaxed life with a small paddock, something a racehorse doesn’t get to enjoy. Darci is a beautiful kind girl who loves to be groomed and doted on. Welcome Darci!
