The Kaeli Kramer Foundation and the Muttontown Horsemen’s Association are proud to recognize the people in our community who have consistently demonstrated their commitment to improving the lives of animals and who have worked to educate others about the humane treatment of animals. At this year’s August 9th event at Planting Fields Arboretum we recognize the Honorable John Rouse, Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Brookhaven whose leadership and imagination resulted in the establishment of the Kaeli Kramer Humane Education Center at the Holtsville Wildlife and Ecology Site. Ms. April Perry, Director of the Ecology Site works with tireless dedication to create a beautiful and welcoming sanctuary for injured wildlife and other animals and provides an educational experience for thousands of visitors. Ms. Kellei Burke passionately cares for all her animals charges including our two rescued Mustangs and teaches in our humane education program.
