We are ready for winter! We reconfigured our barn facilities in order to make the farm more safe and functional during winter. Many of our horses are elderly and frail, two are blind so it is crucial that the barns be easily accessible throughout the year. We moved our “in and out” barns off a steep hill and onto more level land. We power washed, painted and connected them. Now our horses will have more protection from inclement weather.
We also painted our main barn and replaced the old, leaky roof. This work was partially funded by a grant from the ASPCA. We thank the ASPCA for their kindness and support.
